Year of Celebration Patch & Ribbons
For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has created a strong foundation of leadership, service, and community for millions of America's youth. Through the Year of Celebration, 100th Anniversary program Scouts, Scouters, and Alumni will earn recognition for making a difference in their communities due to their dedication to five of Scouting's core values: Leadership, Character, Community Service, Achievement, and the Outdoors. Through that commitment, participants may earn each of five award ribbons to display from the 100th Anniversary commemorative patch. This program is open to all Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, adult leaders, and Scouting alumni. Each level has a different set of age-appropriate requirements where you will complete three of the five choices to earn a specific ribbon. You have until the end of 2010 to earn any and all of the ribbons.
