Talk to the Scouts/adults at the National Jamboree
When: Jul 31, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PMCrew/Troop 876/North District will be holding an opportunity to talk to the Scouts and adults at the BSA National Jamboree via ham radio. We will have voice, digital and VOIP ham radio connections working to make contact with the National Jamboree site and our local site here in Carrollton.
We will be located at the Carrollton Fire Department Training Center on Josey Lane just south of Newman Smith High, under the Water tower. There will be multiple radio stations set up to make contact with the Scouts and leaders at the Ham station at the BSA 100th Anniversary National Jamboree, come spend a few minutes and talk to Scouts and leaders attending the National Jamboree. Perhaps even some of our Scouts at the Jamboree will stop by the ham station there and attempt to make contact back here to us.
